Can I add other search engines to Pump?
Yes, absolutely. New search engines appear on the Web every now and then and some are pretty good at returning downloadable media links to Pump which can provide: music, videos and torrents.
Pump manages and lets you add two kinds of search engines:
Simple Web search
Simple Web search engines are similar to what you find in the toolbar at the top of your browser window: you enter a keyword and it opens a web page with results.

Advanced tab search
Advanced tab search are search engines that return list of results that Pump can display in a grid. These engines must return results in RSS format or using Pump's specific XML search result format

What is VIPeers? Podmailing? What is the relationship with PUMP?
VIPeers is the broader project from which we launched Pump. Historically, VIPeers also included a P2P file sharing service and a large email service called Podmailing, but we terminated these other parts and now only Pump remains.
