How to add a simple Web search engine

You know of a good media search engine and you would like to add it to Pump? Here is how you can do it:

• From the Web search engine menu, or the search preferences, click to add a search engine
• Select "Simple Web search engine"
• Type the name you would like to give to the new Web search engine you're adding
• Type (or paste) the URL of the Web search engine, putting VIPEERSQUERY where the search keyword should stand

• 

  Example: the URL of the query is http://www.jamendo.com/search/all/brad when you're looking for content from "Brad". Just replace brad with VIPEERSQUERY and you have your URL. In this case it should be: http://www.jamendo.com/search/all/VIPEERSQUERY.

  Note that you can also add an icon to be associated with this simple web search.

• Click on the "Add" button to add the new Web search engine. Note that this button is active only if the URL contains VIPEERSQUERY.

• The new Web search engine will now appear in the Web search engines menu:
