What is VIPeers? What is Pump?
VIPeers is a Web service which offers to host content whatever its size, to transfer it by Direct Download or P2P using BitTorrent and to share it, with your friends or with the whole Internet.
VIPeers also distributes Pump, a desktop software that enables you to find, play and save any Web content, no matter its source (Websites, blogs, podcasts, BitTorrent). You can browse and download music, videos and torrents, and subscribe to RSS feeds. Pump enables you to play all the content on your PC and on your mobile phone or media player thanks to mobile synchronization.

What is the relationship between VIPeers and Podmailing?
Podmailing is one of the features of the new VIPeers service that we are launching. If you have been using Podmailing with a certain email address, you can complete registration of a VIPeers account using that same email address.
After that, you will be able to login to Podmailing software using your VIPeers account, and use Podmailing to upload files or folders of any size for sharing on the Web.
What is the size limit for sharing files on VIPeers?
5GB limit for files uploaded on the VIPeers web-site or using Podmailing with a VIP account. To upload directly folder with Podmailing you will need a VIP access too. Free accounts have a 1GB cap per file.
My activation key has expired. How do I get a new one?
Just go on this web page http://www.vipeers.com/request_activation.php, enter your email address and you'll get an email with a new activation key.
What media formats does Pump handle?
Pump supports the following media file formats:
- MP3, WMA, ASF, WAV, WMV, AVI, ASF, MPEG-2, MPG,...
- OGG, AAC, FLAC, DivX, Xvid using additional DirectShow filters
- FLV, H264, MP4, MOV, 3GP using VLC Media Player
- AAC, MOV, M4A, MP4, M4V, iPod, iPhone, AppleTV, 3GP, AIFF using VLC or QuickTime

Is my mobile handset supported?

Can I add other search engines to Pump?
Yes, absolutely. New search engines appear on the Web every now and then and some are pretty good at returning downloadable media links to Pump which can provide: music, videos and torrents.
Pump manages and lets you add two kinds of search engines:
Simple Web search
Simple Web search engines are similar to what you find in the toolbar at the top of your browser window: you enter a keyword and it opens a web page with results.

Advanced tab search are search engines that return list of results that Pump can display in a grid. These engines must return results in RSS format or using Pump's specific XML search result format
