The IntegrityP2P forum posted the interesting thoughts of a person known as DCInteractive about P2P and downloads and more specifically about the method of Direct Download which he refers to as "Share Links".
He makes a quick presentation of the evolution of P2P and of the trends for social networks on which people share everything about themselves. He then writes more in depth about Direct Download, its limitations, its market leaders and the ways to find Download links on these Websites.
In response to this post, Drew Wilson delivered his own opinion on the matter which you can read on the ZeroPaid Website. He mainly studies the different file sharing methods over time, the reasons behind their creation and people's ways of using them in order to determine if "share links" have revolutionized the P2P or not.
As the answer is still up for debate, I invite you to read both posts and tell us if for you think that "share links" have revolutionized P2P or not.
